15 People Dead After Eating Poisoned Prasad
15 people died after eating poisoned prasad at a temple in Karnataka.
On 15 December 2018, in Karnataka 15 people died and around 80 are very critical. This happened because they ate food that was poisoned at a temple. This took place at a temple in a village called Hanur in Karnataka.
The police after investigating, said that the devotees became sick after eating the prasad in the temple. After eating the prasad, people started vomiting and experienced severe stomach pain. They were rushed to the hospital immediately. People said they could smell kerosene and oil in the prasad but they ignored it. The district health officer has said that the poison must have gotten mixed with prasad.
The police after further investigation have revealed that, a few people wanted to remove one of temple trustee. They thought that if such a bad event takes place, the blame will be on the trustees.
