3 Dead as Russian Military Aircraft Crashed

A prototype military transport aircraft with three people on board while performing a test flight outside Moscow on Tuesday 17 August. Two test pilots and a flight engineer were aboard the plane. Unfortunately one of the wings of the plane which was flying at low altitude caught on fire. The flight made a sharp turn and plummeted to the ground. Video of the crash went viral on social media. The plane was set to be unveiled at the Army-2021 forum later this month. It is the first military transport plane developed in Russia from scratch since the Soviet Union collapsed.This is not the first Russian Aircraft to crash this month. 8 people onboard a Russian water-dropping plane died when it crashed in Turkey during a firefighting mission.
