300 Students at This School Write Using Both Hands
While you might have a tough time accepting, over 100 students at a school in Madhya Pradesh's Singrauli have the ability to write using both hands.
Writing at a high speed is talent, but writing with both hands at the same time is a whole different level of talent.Although there are a few people who have mastered this art of writing with both hands. Imagine a school where students have this super rare art as a part of their talent. Our brain is divided into two parts.
The ones who have the left side of the brain, dominant or stronger, become righty or the right handers, while the ones with brains stronger on the right become lefty or the left-handers.
While you might have a tough time accepting, over 300 students at a school in Madhya Pradesh's Singrauli have the ability to write using both hands. The Veena Vadini Public School is situated in Budhela village in Singrauli. The students at the school are also proficient in English, Hindi, Urdu, Spanish, and Sanskrit.
"First, I used to write using my right hand, then I learnt to write using my left hand. In the third standard, I knew how to write using both hands," said Pankaj Yadav, a Class 8 student of the school. Former President Rajendra Prasad is the inspiration behind students picking up this skill, said the school principal. If you don’t already know, former President Dr. Rajendra Prasad was someone who could write using both hands. The school took that as an inspiration and helped its children learn the same skill, said school principal Virangad Sharma. Till now, 480 students have passed out from the school who can write using both of their hands. They can complete a 3 hour exam in 1.5 hours. Alongside their regular classes, the students are also taught yoga and meditation for an hour. There are claims that the students of this school can translate a 250-word text in under a minute.The teachers at the school have trained the students in such a fashion that they are able to use both parts of the brain at the same time and are able to write using both hands at the same time.
Also for your information, Mahatma Gandhi could write with both hands. While writing a book, Swaraj, he wrote with left hand when his right hand got tired.
