Agra Man Claims to Be Buried Alive and Saved by Stray Dogs
Agra man claims he was buried alive by four men and saved by stray dogs, while in Karnataka, a dog miraculously returns home after a 250km pilgrimag
In a bizarre and shocking incident, a 24-year-old man from Agra, Uttar Pradesh, named Roop Kishore, also known as Happy, has made two astonishing claims. He says that he was buried alive by four men and later saved by a pack of stray dogs.
According to reports, on the evening of 18th July 2024, Happy was brutally attacked by four men—Ankit, Gaurav, Karan, and Akash—over a land dispute in the Artoni area of Agra. The attackers strangled Happy until he fainted. Believing he was dead, they buried him on their farm.
Happy claims that hours later, a pack of stray dogs dug up the spot where he was buried. The dogs bit his exposed skin, waking him up from unconsciousness. Despite his injuries, Happy managed to crawl out of the pit, scare the dogs away, and escape to find help from local villagers.
The locals rushed Happy to a nearby hospital and informed the Agra Police. The police recorded Happy's statement and spoke to the villagers who helped him. They also informed Happy's mother, who confirmed that the four accused had forcibly taken him from their home.
The farm where Happy was allegedly buried is now locked, and the four accused are missing. The Agra Police have registered an FIR against the men and are currently searching for them.
In another dog-related news, a heartwarming incident occurred in Karnataka's Yamagarni village, where an elderly indie dog named Maharaj became the center of attention. Maharaj had accompanied his owner, Kamalesh Kumbhar, on a 250km pilgrimage to Pandharpur, Maharashtra, in late June.
After losing sight of Maharaj during the journey, Kumbhar returned home disappointed. But to his surprise, Maharaj returned to Yamagarni on 15th July 2024, after walking over 250km by himself in less than three days. The villagers, seeing this as a miracle, celebrated Maharaj's return by applying a tilak on his forehead, garlanding him, and organizing a grand feast in his honor.
Kumbhar and the villagers believe that Lord Panduranga guided Maharaj back home safely, and they joyously celebrated his miraculous return.
