Recently ISH News news had released a video about the gruesome murder of Shraddha Walkar. Along with that we had also told you about another case from Uttar Pradesh’s Azamgarh where a body parts of a girl were found in a well.

The gory murder incident had come to light on 15th November after a semi - naked body was found inside a well in Azamgarh area.  Since there was no head, it was difficult to identify the body. However, the parents had filed a missing complaint and 3 days later, the girl’s father, Kedar Prajapati who is a resident of Isakpur village identified the body with the bangle on the hand.  

The victim was identified as Aradhana, Kedar’s daughter.  He told the police that on 9th November Prince Yadav, had taken her on the bike after which she didn't return. The police were then on a look out for Prince as he was the prime suspect. The police finally caught him on 19th November 2022. When the police interrogated him, he confessed to the crime. Prince told the police that he and Aradhana were in a relationship, however, when he went for a job abroad, the girl got married earlier this year to someone else. When Prince returned home he spoke to his parents who told him to convince Ardhana to leave her husband and stay with him and if she did not agree, then to kill her.  After this, when Prince talked about living together, she refused. Upset with this, Prince went to his maternal uncle’s house where he planned the killing with his cousin Sarvesh. He asked Aradhana to come along with him to a temple. First day she refused but the next day he convinced her. Prince took his Aradhana to a temple and then strangulated her in a sugarcane field. Prince's cousin Sarvesh was an accomplice in the crime. They then chopped the body in 6 pieces and throw the parts except the head in the well which was in an isolated area. However they threw the head in a pond near the sugarcane field which is 6 kilometers away from the well.  The police took Prince to the sugarcane field and the pond to find the head. However, he had hidden a gun in the sugarcane field. When they reached there, he fired on the policemen in a bid to escape. The police reiterated and Prince was hit by a bullet. The police then arrested him. It may be noted that Prince Yadav's parents, Sarvesh, and other family members had planned to kill Aradhana as she had 'ditched' the accused and married someone else. Though Prince has been arrested, his cousin Sarvesh and other family members are absconding. 

In the Shraddha Walkar case, the head, other bones, the murder weapon, sharaddha phone, her clothes at the time of murder were not found as yet. The police need these to make the case strong against Aftab. Now the police have managed to procure CCTV footage from 18th October , where accused Aftab Poonawalla can be seen walking near his residence around 4 am with a bag on his back, and holding an additional bag in his hand. In another breakthrough of the case, the Delhi police have found remains of a human jaw of a human head in a forest. They have also found three bones during their search. They also search the pond near the forest. The human remains need to be identified and matched with the victim Shraddha Walker's DNA for confirmation if they really belong to her.
