Australian Thrashed for Assaulting Women

Karnataka has some beautiful tourist attractions like ancient temples and caves which draws the attention of tourists who visits India. On Tuesday 19th november, an Australian man named William K James from Melbourne was visiting the cities and villages of Karnataka. He took a bus from Badami to Bagalkot. When he got down at a where the incident took place he misbehaved with some women. Because of this the villagers tied James to an electric post and brutally beat him up.
He was then admitted to a private hospital where the doctors confirmed that he had alcohol in his body. He is out of danger now, according to police.The investigation is going on. According to the District superintendent of police the tourist was alone and they are trying to figure out why he got down in middle and how he is found in such a small village. An FIR has been lodged against the villagers. The Australian embassy has been informed about the incident. There were no arrests made as the case is still under investigation.
