Baba Da Dhaba Owner Commits Suicide
Baba ka Dhaba owner has been hospitalised and cops are unsure on whether it was a suicide bid. Investigations are underway.
Delhi's Baba ka Dhaba owner Kanta Prasad (81), shot to fame after a YouTuber Gaurav Wasan shot a video of his small eatery in Malviya Nagar, Delhi. The video was shared thousands of times on social media. Celebrities and general people supported Baba by making donations and sharing the video on social media.
There was a fight between Gaurav Wasan and Kanta Prasad as well. Prasad said that all people had donated money to Wasan’s account, but Wasan did not transfer the full money properly. More recently, Gaurav Wasan posted on social media that he has reconciled with Kanta Prasad and shared a picture with him as well. A shocking news came on 17th June. Prasad was found unconscious at his dhaba by his family members, who rushed him to a nearby private hospital that referred him to Safdarjung Hospital, as his condition was serious.
He is presently on ventilator support and his blood pressure as well as oxygen level is low. According to his son, KP had consumed alcohol, taken anti-anxiety pills. He is in the ICU under observation. He is stable but critical. According to the police, it is unclear if Prasad accidentally overdosed on the pills with alcohol or whether he tried to take his life.The police have launched an investigation into the matter. Prasad’s family said he was in “depression” and “under pressure” because of some people and the recent problems in his life. After receiving all the donations, Prasad opened a new restaurant but he struggled to make money, and made huge losses. His wife has said he is in a huge debt.
