China Plane Crashes Leaving No Survivors
China Eastern passenger plane that crashed into the mountains today with 132 people on board is seen diving straight into the ground in terrifying footage captured by a security camera.
On Monday 21 March 2022 a Boeing 737 belonging to China Eastern Airlines took off from Kunming at 3:07 pm. The flight was going to Guangzhou. There were 123 passengers and nine crew members on board.
However, the flight never reached Guangzhou. At Wuzhou city in Guangxi region, the flight crashed on the mountain and there was a huge fire. The terrifying video was caught on a CCTV camera in the area
In the video, you can see that the flight was at a height of 29,100 feet. Suddenly the flight lost control and the flight dropped to 3,225 feet and then it crashed into the mountain. All this happened in 2.35 seconds. Generally, for the flight to come this low it usually takes 30 minutes. But the flight fell so quickly. The fire was so strong that it could be seen by the NASA satellite in space. Rescue teams were dispatched (sent) to the crash site. 25 fire engines and 117 firefighters were sent to the scene. But as the accident site is too remote and in the mountains, fire engines could not reach it. Firefighters had to go there on foot. Rescue workers have found no signs of any survivors. The flight was only 6 years old. In the past decade, China's airline industry has been among the best in the world in terms of safety. In 2010 a flight crashed in China. 96 people were on the flight and out of that 44 were killed. Since then not a single flight has crashed in China. Yesterday’s crash was the first to happen in the last 12 years.
