Drunk Couple Enter Rashtrapati Bhavan in Delhi
A couple was arrested after they allegedly tried to enter Rashtrapati Bhavan late at night.
At around 11.30 pm on Monday 15 November, Shivam Sharma and Kusum Rajput living in New Delhi had gone for a drive. Shivam was driving the car. The couple is in their 20s and were driving a Hyundai i-20 car. The couple who were driving around Delhi, then damaged the barricades and barged into the Rashtrapati Bhavan. The security inside the rashtrapati bhavan were shocked and immediately stopped them. When the security guards asked Shivam to roll down the window and asked him a few questions, the security realised that Shivam as well as his girlfriend Kusum were drunk. Shivam, who was drunk, said that he wanted to take his gf for a drive. The couple have been arrested and have been sent to jail for 14-days. An FIR has been registered and they will receive strict punishment. This is because the Rashtrapati Bhavan is a very high profile area and no one except politicians , journalists or people invited by the government are allowed to enter.
