Facebook, WhatsApp & Instagram Stop Working
Mark Zuckerberg-controlled Facebook apologised for the global outage, which affected its main platforms, mentioning that the problem was due to networking issues, without being specific.
Mark Zuckerberg’s Facebook, which also owns Instagram & WhatsApp, was not working for 6 hours yesterday. People across the world were unable to access the 3 social media platforms. Because of this many people faced problems communicating with each other. Facebook’s Workplace which is a social media app which is specially made for the staff of companies to communicate with each other. Even Workplace had stopped working yesterday. Since people could not communicate with each other, many immediately started downloading apps like IMO, Telegram, Snapchat, etc. Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg’s personal wealth has dropped by over $7 billion in a few hours because of the disruptions. Zuckerberg tweeted and apologised. He said all the platforms are working well now. However, he did not mention the reason why the social media platforms stopped working.
