Girl Tied With Rope, Left in Sun For Not Doing Her Homework

Everyone of us has been scolded by our parents for not doing our homework at some point of our school days. However, can you imagine a mother leaving her own five year daughter tied with rope on the roof when it's 45 degrees outside? Yes this happened! A video which is now going viral on the internet shows a small girl’s hands and legs tied with a rope, and her struggling under the sun. In the video shot by a local, the girl is seen crying for help as she tries to free herself from the rope. An initial investigation has revealed that the girl was tied and put on the terrace as part of a punishment for not doing her school homework by her own mother.
The girl’s father works as a tailor and was out when the incident took place. The girl’s mother is a housewife, and will be questioned about the incident, said a police officer. The Delhi Police said they have traced the family and initiated an enquiry against the parents. However, according to reports no arrest has been made so far, but a case has been registered against the parents of the small girl.
