Gold Toilet Stolen In Blenheim Palace
A Gold toilet made as an Art Piece was stollen from the Blenheim Palace, two people have been arrested, but the police are still looking for the stolen toilet.
A Gold toilet valued at Rs 42 Crore in Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire was stolen on Saturday, the police have arrested two people so far a 36-year-old man as well as a 66-year-old man. The toilet made of 18-carat gold, called America is an art piece made by Maurizio Cattelan and was a working toilet that visitors could use.
The Chief Executive of Blenheims Palace Dominic Hare has said that the theft is like a movie and the first type of theft to happen in the palace. Mr Hare has said they have a sophisticated security system, but staff are now looking at how this happened, Detective Inspector Steve Jones has said that the priority is to locate the stolen item and asked for any information on its whereabouts.
Police believe that a gang of thieves used at least two vehicles but are still not sure how it all happened, Mr Hare said that the toilet was offred to US President Donald Trump in 2017 but it was rejected, they fear that the toilet will be melted down for the gold before it can be found.
