HIV+ Woman Rapes Boy To Infect Him With the Virus
A 23-year-old HIV+ woman was arrested in Uttarakhand's Dehradun for allegedly sexually assaulting her 15-year-old nephew in order to infect him with the virus.
There was a woman who was HIV+ and her husband had AIDS. The couple were living in Udham Singh Nagar in Uttarakhand. The husband died of AIDS in December 2021. After her husband’s death, she went to her maternal home in Philbit in Uttar Pradesh. The woman was filled with envy that her husband died of AIDS, she is HIV+ and is suffering so much. But the family was happy, rich and did not care about her. Later during Holi the 15 year old son of her husband's elder brother, had gone there last month around Holi as part of a grieving tradition. That time she was so jealous of the family, she raped the boy to take revenge against the family and infect the boy with HIV+ . She wanted the family to suffer like her.
She raped him multiple times over there. She warned him of grave repercussions if he told anybody. On 2nd April 2022, she went back to her husband’s home in Udham Singh Nagar. That time she was shouting at the boy and was threatening him to not tell anyone. That time the boy’s mother saw them and became suspicious.
She then went to the boy privately and asked what happened. That time the whole story came out and he told his mother everything. His mother was shocked. She told his father. Both the parents then rushed to the police station and immediately filed a police complaint. Based on the complaint, police registered a case against the woman for a "malignant act likely to spread infection of any disease dangerous to life" and "aggravated sexual assault" under Sections 270 of the IPC and 5 and 6 of the POCSO Act.
