Inmates Party & Gamble in UP Jail
Prisoners in Naini Central Jail in Uttar Pradesh have turned the jail into a pub for their entertainment. The inmates party, drink liquor, gamble and non-vegetarian food.
Naini Central Jail in Uttar Pradesh has been caught up in scandal after photos were leaked showing prisoners and gangsters drinking liquor, gambling, using smart phones and eating non-vegetarian food in the jail, they showed mafia don Atiq Ahmed who was about to be transferred to Sabarmati Jail in Gujarat after an order from the Supreme Court.
The head of Prisons in UP, Chandra Prakash has confirmed that these pictures that were leaked are real and did happen in the Naini Central Jail, but did not confirm if they were from a farewell party held by the prisoners for the leaving Atiq Ahmed.
Mr. Prakash said that there would be a full investigation as to why this major security breach occurred and action would be taken once all the information was discovered, but the jail authorities have denied that gambling and betting was going on but did not comment on the other activities.
