Iran To Use Its 'Secret Weapon' Against US Soon?

Amid failed peace talks, Iran warns of deploying a powerful new torpedo against the United States, raising fears of further escalation in the US–Israel–Iran conflict

ISH News has been tracking the escalating US–Israel–Iran conflict from the start. Recent peace talks between Iran and the United States in Islamabad failed, raising fears of further escalation.

Amid rising tensions, Iran’s Navy Commander Shahram Irani issued a stark warning about deploying a new weapon—possibly the high-speed “Hoot” torpedo.

The “Hoot” (meaning whale) is believed to be a super-fast underwater weapon, capable of speeds over 360 km/h using a gas-bubble propulsion system. It carries a heavy explosive payload and operates like a fire-and-forget missile. However, its major limitation is its short range of about 15–30 km.

Experts remain divided on whether it can significantly threaten US naval forces—only time will tell.

Adding to the intrigue, reports suggest Iran may even explore training dolphins to carry sea mines in strategic waters like the Strait of Hormuz, though this remains unconfirmed.

Meanwhile, Iran has reportedly sent a 14-point peace proposal to the US via Pakistan, but details are unclear. US President Donald Trump is said to be unconvinced, recently signaling a tougher stance with his remark: “No more Mr. Nice Guy.”

With diplomacy stalling and threats rising, the conflict could intensify in the days ahead.
