Lockdown In Telangana & Maharashtra May be Extended

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on Monday evening recommended that the coronavirus lockdown be extended. A news by ANI had gone viral which said that the lockdown in the state would be continued even after its ends on April 14. It said the lockdown would continue till June 3. The Telangana Chief Minister's Office later made a clarification.
The Chief Minister said it would be difficult to control people once the lockdown was lifted."All the efforts we had put in all these days, financial loss, would go waste, if the situation comes back to square one due to the lockdown being eased,”This is why the lockdown may be extended for two more weeks after 15th April.
No extension has officially been announced so far.The CM said only he took a reference to a BCG report which says a lockdown in India should be placed until June 3 to contain the virus.
The BCG stands for Boston Consulting Group. They created a report about India’s management of COVID-19 after studying China’s situation, their healthcare facilities and India’s medical resources.
This is why the BCG report said that to properly contain the virus India the lockdown has to extend till 3rd June. Now even the Maharashtra Health Minister has said that the lockdown may extend for longer because in places like Mumbai the cases of COVID-19 are increasing very quickly.
