Man Stabs Ex-Girlfriend to Death 32 Times in Office: Stabs Himself Afterwards
A 29-year-old woman employee was allegedly stabbed to death by her former partner and colleague inside a private company office in Mohali, Punjab, on June 4, 2026.
A shocking incident unfolded in Mohali on June 4 when a 29-year-old woman, Dimple, was allegedly stabbed to death by her colleague inside their office.
According to police, the accused, 33-year-old Harvinder Mann alias Harry, and Dimple had worked together for nearly three years and were previously in a relationship that ended six months ago.
Investigators believe Harvinder had been attempting to reconcile with her since the breakup.
CCTV footage reportedly shows Harvinder entering Dimple's cabin after office hours, where an argument broke out. He then allegedly attacked her with a knife and chased her through the office as she tried to escape.
Despite efforts by co-workers to intervene, Dimple succumbed to her injuries.
After the attack, Harvinder allegedly attempted suicide by stabbing himself and was later rushed to hospital in critical condition.
Police have registered a murder case, seized CCTV footage, and launched an investigation. Officials say the exact motive is yet to be established and all angles are being examined.
