Yes, you hear it right, In yet another shocking incident, a man reportedly died of burn injuries after falling into a container of porridge at Muthumariyammam temple in Madurai.
‘Aadi Velli’ is an important festival celebrated across Tamil Nadu where porridge is cooked and distributed to the public in honor of Goddess Amman. As a part of the event, porridge was being cooked in large vessels at Madurai’s Pazhanganatham for Muthu Mariyammam temple devotees on Friday 29th July.
The man in the video is identified as Muthukumar from Madurai, Tamil Nadu, who was assisting in the preparation of the porridge, became dizzy and fell into the large vessel which contained boiling porridge. Shocked, people nearby tried to help Muthukumar but they were unable to pull him out. Finally, they had to flip the entire vessel to rescue him. Muthukumar was taken to Rajaji Government hospital, where he was admitted with 65% burn injuries. However, he later scummed to his massive burn injuries 3 days later on Tuesday, 2nd of August.
Soon after the incident took place, the police started investigating the matter during which they found CCTV footage that captured the entire footage. The footage showed how exactly the entire incident took place, and the innocent man lost his precious life in an extremely painful manner.
