Rajinikanth Decides Not to Enter Politics
Veteran South Indian Actor Rajinikanth, due to health conditions, has decided to quit politics.
Veteran South Indian Actor Rajinikanth was supposed to make an announcement about the political course of his new political party Rajini Makkal Mandram on 31st December 2020. However due to health conditions, he has decided to quit politics. Doctors had advised the actor against a hectic lifestyle since he underwent a kidney transplant in 2016, but earlier this month, he said that though there were health concerns, he was ready to sacrifice his life for the people of Tamil Nadu. A few days back he was admitted to Apollo Hospital in Hyderabad for his fluctuating blood pressure levels. He was discharged and doctors advised him to rest for 2 weeks.
On Tuesday 29th December he announced that will not be launching his political party. In a three-page statement that he posted on Twitter, the actor has issued an apology. He said only he can understand the pain. Rajinikanth said he, despite his doctors’ advice, travelled to Hyderabad for the shooting of ‘Annaatthe’ a Tamil movie. He said out of 150 people, 4 people tested positive. If coronavirus can spread among such a small number of people, then what will happen if large campaigns with lakhs of people assemble for his party.
He said he can not use social media or the internet for his campaigns. He needs to go to places, give speech and motivate people so that India can change. Right now it is not possible. Right now with the new coronavirus, I go out and large crowds gather, it is a danger for all. He said his hospitalisation was a sign from God that he should cancel his political plans. Members of his party are very disappointed with this news.
