Well the pictures were for Paper Magazine which is a New York, USA based magazine. The photoshoot is a tribute to '70s pop icon Burt Reynolds who also went nude in the 1972 shoot for Cosmopolitan Magazine.

Ranveer Singh’s shoot was planned in advance and he was very clear about his vision. He was extremely comfortable & confident during the shoot. The actor said “It’s so easy for me to be physically naked, but in some of my performances I’ve been damn fucking naked. You can see my fucking soul. How naked is that? That’s being actually naked. I can be naked in front of a thousand people, I don’t give a s**t. It’s just that they get uncomfortable.”
