Sanjay Dutt Recovers From Cancer

On Wednesday 21st October, actor Sanjay Dutt returned home from Mumbai’s Kokilaben Hospital after recovering from cancer. The actor was seen with his sister Priya Dutt outside his home. Sanjay smiled and waved at the paparazzi at his home. Sanjay’s wife Maanayata Dutt also shared pictures of their son Shahraan and daughter Iqra as they celebrated the twins’ 10th birthday in Dubai. Sanjay joined the celebrations via a video call. Sanjay shared a statement about his health on Twitter. He revealed that he has recovered from his illness. He began the note by stating that the past weeks had been difficult for him and his family. In his statement he said, “Today, on the occasion of my kids’ birthday, I am happy to come out victorious from this battle and be able to give them the best gift of health and well-being of our family.”
He also thanked his fans, family, and friends for the unwavering faith and support and wrote, “Thank you for the love, kindness and the countless blessings that you have sent my way.”Sanjay ended the note by thanking his doctor Dr Sewanti, her team of doctors, nurses and medical staff at Mumbai’s Kokilaben Hospital who took good care of him in the last few weeks. Earlier in August Sanjay was hospitalized for two days due to breathlessness. He then announced that he is taking a break from work due to his health conditions. On the work front, Sanjay wrapped up the shoot of YRF film Shamshera during his cancer treatment. He also has many movies lined up for release, including KGF: Chapter 2, Bhuj: The Pride of India.
