A heartbreaking video of a baby trying to awaken his dead mother at Muzaffarpur railway station in Muzaffarpur, Bihar, had gone viral on social media. When Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan saw the video he said, “I understand what it feels to lose a parent as a child. I will make sure I will always support that Child.”
Shah Rukh decided to help the child through his NGO Meer Foundation. The Foundation on Twitter said, “We are very thankful for everyone who helped to trace the child. When we saw the video of the child trying to wake his dead mother, we felt very bad. The child is now in his grandfather’s care.”
Similarly another Bollywood Actor Sonu Sood has done a lot to help migrant workers. Sonu Sood felt very bad when he saw thousands of migrant workers walking to their home towns with no food or water. This is why since May 11, he has been arranging more than a hundred buses for workers stuck in Mumbai. He has now launched a toll-free helpline number- 18001213711 - through which people can call Sonu’s team for help. Sonu said that he, family and friends were getting thousands of calls a day. This is why they decided to make a toll free number so they don’t miss out on anyone.
