SSR’s Father Files Case in Delhi High Court
Sushant Singh Rajput's father has moved Delhi High Court against movies that depict the late actor in a negative light.
Sushant Singh Rajput's father Krishna Kishore Singh has filed a case in the Delhi High Court.
In his complaint he said that :
Movies like Nyay: The Justice, Suicide or Murder: A star was lost, and Shashank are being made on his son Sushant’s life. These movies talk about his lifestyle and the reason for his death and about whether he really committed suicide. Sushant’s father said that none of the makers of the film took his permission to make the movie. Singh said that these filmmakers are using the movie as an opportunity to get fame by developing different theories/stories, at the cost of his and his family's reputation."
More importantly, the CBI is investigating the death of SSR. These movies can be dangerous as they can affect the investigation by creating rumours. Singh said that the movie is breaching the privacy of Sushant and his family. Hence, for "loss of reputation, mental trauma, and harassment," SSR’s father asked the courts to stop the movies from releasing and demanded the makers of the movies to pay Rs. 2,00,02,200 as damages.
