Taapsee Pannu Receives Electricity Bill of Rs 36,000

On Sunday 28th June, Bollywood Actress Taapsee Pannu was in a very bad mood. She then posted many angry tweets on Twitter. In her Tweets, she said that she received an electricity bill from Adani Electricity of Rs 36,000 for the month of June. The amount is 10 times her usual monthly bill. She shared pictures of her monthly electricity bills on Twitter. April - Rs 4,390, May - Rs 3,850 and for June it was Rs 36,000. She said that she wonders what new appliances she has brought into her house to get such a huge bill. She asked Adani Electricity, “What kind of power are you charging us for?”. Taapsee shared another electricity bill for an unused apartment. The bill for this apartment was Rs 8,640. It was for an unused apartment.
Taapsee jokingly said someone must be sneaking into the apartment without her knowing and using electricity. She said I am worried you have to help me find the truth. Adani Electricity sent her a link to lodging her complaint, but the link failed to open. Many responded to Taapsee’s Tweets saying even they have received expensive bills. Actor Pulkit Samrat Tweeted that he even received an electricity bill of Rs 30,000 and said ‘Kya Mazak Hai.”(What a joke)
