Ukraine has accused Russia of bombing a children’s hospital and maternity ward in Mariupol, wounding 17 people and trapping children and others under the rubble in what it called “a war crime without justification”. Despite Moscow's announcement of a ceasefire in several Ukrainian cities, at least 18 civilians, including two children, were killed after Russia allegedly dropped 500-kilogram bombs on residential buildings in Sumy city. The information was shared by Ukraine's Ministry of Culture and Information Policy. Another such bomb was allegedly dropped on Chernihiv but it didn't explode. Olena Zelenska wife of Ukraine President, on Tuesday, condemned Russia’s "mass murder" of civilians, including children, in an open letter to the global media on the Russian invasion. "Eight-year-old Alice... died on the streets of Okhtyrka while her grandfather tried to protect her," she said. "Polina from Kyiv... died in the shelling with her parents." She added: "14-year-old Arseniy was hit in the head by wreckage, and could not be saved because an ambulance could not get to him on time because of intense fires. "When Russia says that it is 'not waging war against civilians,' I call out the names of these murdered children first,"
