UP Government Bans Mobiles in Schools & Colleges
The Uttar Pradesh Government has decided to ban mobile phones from schools and colleges in a bid to encourage a positive educational environment.
The Yogi Adityanath-led government in Uttar Pradesh has banned the use of mobile phones in colleges and universities in the state. Not only students, the ban is also applicable to teachers in all higher education institutes in the state.According to the rules, students and teachers will not be allowed to bring or use mobile phones inside college and university premises.
The government saw that many students and teachers were using their mobiles during college hours. This is why they decided on such strict rules. The UP government was to provide a better teaching environment for students in all colleges and universities in the state.
The Uttar Pradesh Government had earlier banned the use of mobile phones during official meetings and cabinet meetings.This took this decision because many ministers would use WhatsApp during meetings and would not focus on work.
The Chief Minister wants all ministers to focus on issues that are discussed in the cabinet meetings. They should not get distracted by their mobile phones.
