USA: Biden Calls Ukraine’s President Zelenskyy as Putin at NATO
US President Biden mistakenly called Ukraine's President Zelenskyy "President Putin" and Vice President Kamala Harris "Vice President Trump."

These incidents have worried Americans and world leaders about Biden’s mental health and cognitive wellbeing. Unfortunately, Biden had yet another embarrassing moment on an international platform.
The USA hosted the 33rd NATO Summit in Washington DC from 9th to 11th July 2024. During this summit, Biden mistakenly introduced Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskyy as Russian President Vladimir Putin. Biden said, “...And now I want to hand it over to the president of Ukraine, who has as much courage as he has determination, ladies and gentlemen, President Putin.”
Zelenskyy’s expressions clearly showed his surprise and confusion. Biden quickly corrected himself, adding, “President Putin, you're going to beat President Putin, President Zelenskyy. I am so focused on beating Putin.” Zelenskyy hid his bafflement, got up, and shook Biden’s hand with a smile, jokingly saying, “I am better (than Putin).” Biden replied, “You are a hell of a lot better.”
Biden’s blunder was significant, given the ongoing Russia-Ukraine war. However, his embarrassing moments didn’t end there. Later that day, at an electoral news conference, Biden mistakenly called his Vice President Kamala Harris “Vice President Trump.”
A reporter asked Biden how confident he was about the victory of “Indian-origin” Kamala Harris in the upcoming elections. Biden replied, “Look, I wouldn't have picked Vice President Trump to be vice president if she was not qualified to be president. So start there."
These instances have made people further question Biden’s mental well-being. At 81, Biden is already the oldest president to serve the USA.
