Once a very wise man lived in a village. People from all over would visit him and ask his advice.
But there was one person who would visit the man almost everyday with the same problem and would always cry about it. No matter what the wise man said the man was never satisfied.
One day when the man came to him, the wise man told him a joke.
The man roared with laughter and loved the joke.
After a couple of minutes, the wise man told the same joke and the man just smiled.
The wise man told the same joke for the third time but the man did not laugh.
The man said why are you repeating the same joke again and again? I can’t keep laughing every time!
The wise man smiled and said
“Yes you are right! You can’t laugh at the same joke over and over. So why are you always crying about the same problem?”
Moral of the story:
Constantly worrying won’t solve your problems, it’ll just waste your time and energy.
