5 Labourers Executed by Terrorists in Kashmir
In a horrific tragedy, 6 labourers hailing from West Bengal were kidnapped and five of them were executed the day 23 European Union MPs were visiting to inspect the situation in Kashmir.
In South Kashmir’s Kulgam district, 6 labourers who were from West Bengal, were kidnapped by terrorists. The terrorists made them stand in a line and open fired. 5 of the labourers died and one is injured. The terrorists left him to die. The labourer was then taken to a Srinagar hospital. Since 14th October, this has been the 5th attack by terrorists. Earlier terrorists had attacked 4 truck drivers, one apple trader and one labourer. All of these people who were killed were non-locals.
The recent attack was carried out on the same day that 23 European Union MPs were visiting J&K to check the situation in J&K after the removal of Article 370. The media was not allowed to interact with the officials. The EU officials met PM Modi, National Security Advisor Ajit Doval and Foreign Minister S Jaishankar in New Delhi. The EU MPs will meet many officials, local BJP leaders as well as an NGO named WESTT led by a woman called Madi Sharma. Nobody knows who Madi Sharma is.
When EU MPs arrived in J&K all the shops were closed, lots of people were throwing stones and protestors fought with the army. They even set some vehicles on fire. A resident of Srinagar Altaf Ahmed said that the government is fooling the EU MPs by saying everything is normal. He said if the MPs really want to know whats happening, they have to interact with the locals. Chris Davies is an MP of the EU. Earlier he was invited to visit J&K. However when he requested to meet with locals and interview them without a police escort, his invite was cancelled.
