And now an Italian tourist has tested positive for the Coronavirus in Rajasthan. The person in Delhi had tested positive for Coronavirus as he had travelled to Italy before. The patient’s child’s school was fumigated as a precautionary measure. Also the patient had thrown a birthday party for their child which many children attended.The Telangana patients had travelled to dubai earlier.
Everyone has been put under observation and in isolation. Even family members are in quarantine The school will shut till March 6.The Ministry of Health is keeping track of all the people the infected patients have come in contact with and making sure the virus doesn’t spread.Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in his first remarks since the infection was reported in India, urged the people not to panic and instead take basic protective measures. PM Modi tweeted and released a 24×7 helpline number (+91 1123978046) and email id (ncov2019@gmail.com) to report any suspected cases and to seek further help.The Union Health Ministry suspended all regular visas/e-visas granted on or before March 3 to nationals of Italy, Iran, South Korea, Japan who have not yet entered India.
