Air India Flights Gets Stuck Under Delhi Bridge
A huge Air Indian plane was stuck underneath a foot overbridge at the Delhi-Gurugram highway near Delhi airport.
A journalist named Ashoke Raj had shared this video on Twitter wherein a huge Air Indian plane was stuck underneath a foot overbridge at the Delhi-Gurugram highway. It can be seen that vehicles are passing through one side of the highway while the other side appears to be blocked by the aircraft. The aircraft got stuck mid way, its nose and half its body had crossed underneath the foot overbridge before the other half could not get through.
The video left people scratching their heads as to how a huge plane could get stuck under a bridge. The journalist demanded to know how a plan could get stuck under a bridge like that. Air India then said that the flight was not working properly which meant it was sold for scrap. After the sale, the new owners were transporting the flight without its wings to their place when it got stuck under the bridge. The driver may have made a judgement of error while transporting it. The airlines said that they have made no mistake and it is the new owner’s fault.
A similar incident had occurred in 2019 when an abandoned India Post aircraft being carried on a truck got stuck under a bridge in West Bengal’s Durgapur.
