Sameer Wankhede is the official who is investigating the Mumbai Cruise drugs case. Recently he alleged that people have been following him, and he does not feel safe. The drugs issue has now intersect
In the Mumbai cruise drug case, the NCB has arrested a total of 19 people including Aryan Khan and a Nigerian Drug peddler. They also summoned Shah Rukh Khan’s for questioning.
According to a news article published in India Today Aryan Khan has confessed to smoking charas and said that his friend Arbaaz Merchant had carried 6 grams of Charas in his shoes to the cruise ship.
This is why the court has refused Aryan’s bail for the 3rd time as the NCB has said that Aryan needs to be questioned about the drug peddlers who gave them the drugs to track the international drug cartel that may be involved in the matter.
Sameer Wankhede who also investigated the drug matter in Sushant Singh Rajput’s death is also investigating Aryan Khan’s case.
Wankhede has filed a complaint with the Maharashtra police saying that since he started investigating Aryan Khan’s case some people have been following him.
Wankhede also said that he would regularly visit a cemetery where his mother is buried. Two persons, claiming to be police officers, accessed CCTV footage from the cemetery.
Wankhede and Mutha Jain are investigating the matter. Jain along with Wankhede visited the Maharashtra Police Chief and said that he does not feel safe as some people are following him.
The arrest of Aryan Khan is now snowballing into a political issue, with leaders of Maharashtra government saying the NCB is not handling the investigation properly.
So now the question is who is following Sameer Wankhede? Is it people employed by SRK, some political party? Are these people trying to pressure and scare Wankhede from stopping the investigation?
