Bengaluru School Kids Tied to Tree & Forced to Smoke
In a school in Bengaluru, small children were harassed by some men. Some of these men were below 18.
In Bengaluru’s Whitefield area there is a municipal school run by the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP). In this school children between the ages of 10-13 years were frequently being bullied by a gang of six people inside the campus. The school knew about this but they did not do anything as the men had threatened the school to keep their mouths shut otherwise they would face severe consequences.
Thankfully some brave local people took the video and shared it with a local politician. The video went viral. In the video it could be seen that children were being brutally tortured by some men. In one clip, the children can be seen tied to a tree as the group of men force them to smoke beedis.
In another clip, one of the men can be seen beating around seven young students one-by-one with a stick.
The children were allegedly tortured if they refused to obey the commands given by the accused. The accused also used to force the children to buy beedis from the nearby shops for them.
Most of the people who tortured the children worked in factories near the school and some were students themselves. When the police heard about the incident they immediately went to the school and arrested the bullies. 6 people were arrested. Of the 6 people, 5 were below 18.
