Big Boss Contestant Arrested at Drug Party in Nashik
2 people including 12 women consisting of actresses and businessmen were detained by Nashik rural police.
On 27th June, the Nashik Police received a tip that there was a high-profile drug party happening at the Sky Taj Villa and Sky Lagoon Villa in Igatpuri. So early in the morning on 27th June, a team of 50 Nashik police officers raided the two properties and recovered cocaine and other drugs. 22 people were detained for consuming drugs and this included 10 men and 12 women. As per reports the 12 women include six models, bollywood actresses, South film industry actresses and TV serial actresses. There were also two choreographers and one model of Iranian origin. The 10 men detained are businessmen. All the attendees were taken for medical tests to a government hospital and their blood samples were collected to confirm cocaine and drug consumption.
One of the women arrested is reportedly actress Heena Panchal, who is a former contestant at the reality show Bigg Boss Marathi. She had also participated in another dating reality show ‘Mujhse shaadi karogi’.
Upon further investigation, the police arrested a Nigerian national who allegedly supplied the narcotics to the party. It is said that the party was to celebrate cricket bookie Piyush Sethia’s birthday. The police is also probing prostitution angle in the rave party. Owners of the two bungalows were also booked for failing to submit details on the number of attendees to officials amid Covid restrictions
