Big Fight Between Virat Kohli & Rohit Sharma

The cold war between Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma ahead of the West Indies tour has become public. The BCCI has decided to take control of the situation and solve the rift before it affect’s the team'

There have been many rumors about the relationship between Indian captain Virat Kohli and Vice-Captain Rohit Sharma. The fight started after India lost the World Cup semi-finals. Some even say that the team is split into two groups. One that Supports Virat and the other that supports Rohit. Rumours say that the two players have been fighting with each other for a long time. There is a cold war between the two of them. Rohit and opening batsman Shikhar Dhawan had left the management company Virat was associated with, which lead to tensions between them. Many have said that due to this there is a lot of tension in the locker room as well. The rift is said to have started after Virat Kohli was made Captain and Rohit Sharma was not named as Vice Captain for the two Test matches against West Indies. This has lead to a very big ego tussle between the two players. 

Even the wives of the players have gotten involved in this fight. Recently Anushka Sharma had posted a picture on Instagram with the caption “A wise man once said nothing. Only truth can shake hands with silence in a mess of false appearances.” Immediately after this post Rohit Sharma unfollowed Anushka Sharma. Now Anushka has stopped following Rohit and his wife Ritika. 

The BCCI, Virat Kohli and coach Ravi Shastri have said there is no fight between Kohli and Sharma. In a press conference, Kohli said that these were rubbish rumours and that there is not fight among the players. He even invited the media to come visit the locker room and see the strong bond of the players. Since the fight has become so public and the CEO of BCCI Rahul Johri will talk to the two players and resolve the fight. Reports say they have asked Coach Ravi Shastri to be at the meetings as he is the one who selected Kohli as Captain. 

Johri will talk to the team in the locker room before the Tour with West Indies starts on 4th August. Mr Rahul Johri said that we support all the individuals involved and that any problems.
