Currently lakhs of people are suffering because of the 2nd wave of coronavirus in India. People are dying and relatives are struggling to treat their loved ones. There was news about a person begging on their knees to police officials and doctors to help him treat their loved one who is dying of COVID. People struggling to stand in long queues just to get vaccinated. One woman had taken her husband to the hospital who was struggling to breathe and wanted oxygen but since there was no oxygen she had to give him mouth to mouth. People are suffering so much. Despite the strict restrictions imposed by the government in various states, people continue to break the rules. 

In surprising news, a politician himself broke COVID restrictions in Bihar. Bihar's BJP MLA Manchan Kesari hosted a big fat wedding party on Tuesday 27th April for his son’s wedding. When ETV Bharat asked Kesari about organising a grand event, he said that all guests were following covid guidelines and no such guidelines flouted during the ceremony. He even said, All were wearing masks and stood at a distance of 2 feet from each other. However, As you saw in the video, The couple was accorded a grand welcome with some artists were seen dancing with them but not a single person was wearing a mask. The event had more than 100 people present and it went on till after 10pm. This has come as a huge embarrassment for the Bihar Government. People are furious that while the country is struggling to stay alive, a politician whose responsibility it is to enforce the law, is happily enjoying and breaking rules.
