Caterer Throws 11 Year Old Child in Tandoor For Taking Rasgullas
An 11-year-old boy in Basti, UP, was seriously burned after a catering contractor, enraged over the child repeatedly eating sweets at a wedding, threw him onto a hot tandoor.
On April 15, 11-year-old Chaman was attending a wedding in Basti district with his grandmother.
While at the buffet, a catering contractor became enraged because the child was repeatedly taking rasgullas.
The contractor caught and threatened the boy before lifting him up and placing him on a burning tandoor. Chaman lost his balance and fell into the fire. The contractor fled the scene immediately after.
Family members rescued Chaman after hearing his screams. He suffered severe burns from his face to his waist. After initial treatment in Ayodhya, he was transferred to Lucknow Medical College in serious but stable condition.
The victim’s uncle, Devideen Nishad, filed a case for attempted murder. The police are currently investigating and conducting raids to catch the contractor.
