Chinese President to Visit India
On Wednesday, the Indian government confirmed Chinese President Xi Jinping arrival in India for his second informal summit.
On Wednesday 9th October 2019, the government announced that Chinese President Xi Jinping will be visiting India today on October 11 and 12 for the second informal summit.This meeting will be very useful. Both leaders, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Xi will discuss issues of about India China and the world. Hopefully, this meeting will make the India China relationship strong.
President Xi's visit to India was being planned for weeks now. Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Yao Jing had said that China would support Pakistan and make sure Kashmiri residents get their fundamental rights.India was not at all happy with this statement. Many thought that the meeting would get cancelled. The Indian government said that the statement made by the Chinese Ambassador was wrong and said that this was not the aim of the meeting that would be held in India.
To manage the situation, Chinese Foreign Ministry said that India and Pakistan must solve issues between themselves.After this it has been confirmed that the meeting will take place in [Box 04 Mamallapuram, a coastal town near Chennai. President Xi and PM Modi will visit temples and heritage sites built by [Box 05 Pallav Dynasty in 7th-8th centuries.They will discuss terror, trade, defense, and border. However, no official documents will be signed as it is an informal meeting.
