Deaf Gym Trainer Drowns in Uttarakhand
The police and the SDRF found the body of the Gym trainer Vijay in Uttarakhand.
The police and the SDRF found the body of the Gym trainer Vijay. Vijay, age 25 was deaf and had drowned in Bhalu Gaad waterfall, in Uttarakhand. According to sources, five youths from Devalchaud area of Haldwani in Uttarakhand, had gone for a picnic to Bhalu gaad Waterfall. While bathing in the waterfall, Vijay got stuck. His friends tried to save him but could not. The four friends informed the police and on receiving information, the Mukteshwar police along with SDRF reached the spot. They undertook the rescue operations but due to darkness, they were not able to find anything.
They took the four boys to the main police station and informed Vijay’s family. Later the police, divers and SDRF team again started searching for Vijay. After that Vijay’s body was found 2 Km away from the spot he had disappeared. After that the body was brought home and the last rite was done. Vijay was deaf from childhood. He worked at a Gym in Tikonia. Vijay is survived by his parents and a sister. His father works in a petrol pump.
