Deaf Sports Association Donates to PM-CARES Fund

The world is fighting the COVID-19 pandemic. Countries all over the world have worked very hard to control the spread of the virus. Even in India, the government is working hard. Hospitals, doctors, nurses, police, etc are working very hard to control the virus and care for the patients. In India, the government imposed a lockdown. Due to this the economy, businesses, etc have suffered losses.
Many film stars, sportspersons and many famous personalities came forward to donate funds to help India.
Even the Deaf community in India has raised funds for the COVID-19.
AISCD All India Sports Council of the Deaf President is Dr.Usha Punjabi and their General Secretary is G. Sureshkumar. AISCD decided to collect funds to help India fight COVID-29. AISCD and its affiliates associations all over India have helped to raise funds for the COVID-19 pandemic. Many individuals have personally donated funds.
In total RS 4,55,111 was collected. This amount was then transferred to the PM-Cares fund via cheque. Have a look at the cheque. A letter was also sent along with a list of the donors. This was a collective effort of the North, South, East & West zone. Everyone coordinated very well and collected the funds. We are very proud that the Deaf community is helping India remove COVID-19.
