Eating Bhelpuri on Someone’s Call History?

You might have heard people saying that in this era of technology, our privacy has been badly affected. The government, social media companies, etc. are always stealing or taking people’s data. Prerna Lidhoo while eating street side Bhelpuri realized that she was served Bhelpuri on a paper that held information about a man named Sandeep Rane’s call history. Lidhoo shared a picture of the Vodafone call records on Twitter on Friday, 3rd June, with the phone numbers and other personal details blurred. Many telecommunication companies provide call records and information about the calls made and received on a phone number and the duration of those calls on request. While sharing the picture of her Bhel Puri plate, Lidhoo wrote, “#DataPrivacy is really a joke in this country. I just had Bhelpuri on Mr Rane’s call records.”
However, soon after she tweeted the picture of the call record she finished eating Bhelpuri in, went viral on twitter with thousands of likes and retweets. Where some twitter users were seen supporting her statement, some other wrote that it was the fault of the sim user who threw his call records without destroying it which comes as a part of the phone bill. What do you think is the fault of the mobile phone user, the sim card operator, the Bhelpuri Vendor or someone else? Do mention your thoughts in the comment section below.
