Famous YouTuber & Bigg Boss OTT Season 2 winner Elvish Yadav is once again in the news for all the wrong reasons. The Noida Police has filed an FIR against Elvish Yadav and arrested five people for the alleged use of snake venom at illegal rave parties on 3rd November 2023. Snake venom is often used in rave parties to get high & intoxicated. Usually, a powder is made from the venom of the snakes and is then mixed into the drinks for consumption. The price of snakebite powder can range anywhere between Rs 20,000-25,000. Other times, a live snake, mostly King cobra, is kept in a box with a hole in its top. People keep their tongues on the hole for the snake to bite it. Snake venom has mind-altering properties. It can cause sleepiness, pain & stress relief, sexual arousal, and a sense of being superior. The complaint against Elvish Yadav was filed by the People For Animals NGO. This NGO is run by BJP & Lok Sabha member Maneka Gandhi. According to the reports, one of the NGO members Gaurav Gupta contacted Elvish Yadav and asked him to organize a rave party with Cobra venom. Elvish then gave Gaurav the number of one of his snake suppliers, Rahul. Before calling Rahul, the NGO decided to record the call. Over the call, Rahul said that he could organize the snakes & venom anywhere in Delhi. He even agreed to supplying of venom to Elvish multiple times in the past at his studios. After doing some negotiations to make the phone call authentic, Gaurav asked Rahul to bring the venom to Sector 51 Banquet Hall. This was a trap set by the NGO. The Noida police along with the Divisional Forest Officer came to the venue and arrested the organizers. According to the reports, the police have seized 20 ml of snake venom, five cobras, a python, two two-headed snakes, and a rat snake from the organizers. Maneka Gandhi said that this is a grade 1 wildlife crime and is punishable by up to 7 years in prison. She also explained that King cobras die when their venom is taken out because the venom is for digesting food. Without the venom, they’re unable to eat anything and thus they die. According to the wildlife laws, it is a crime to own, catch, or use Cobras & Pythons in India because there are very few of them left in the country. There are very few cobras and pythons in the country.," Maneka Gandhi said to television channels. Maneka Gandhi demanded Elvish Yadav’s immediate arrest. She told the reporters that her NGO was keeping a close watch on Elvish Yadav because he used snakes in many of his YouTube videos and then later found out about his use of snake venom. Later that same day, Elvish Yadav released a video on social media denying all allegations by calling them untrue. He said that he’s ready to cooperate with the Noida police. He also claimed that if he’s found even 1% involved in the case then he’s ready to take responsibility for it. The Noida police have interrogated the venom supplier Rahul & other 4 people from 3rd to 6th November 2023. On 7th November 2023, the police questioned Elvish in the presence of Noida police commissioner Suresh Rao Kulkarni for 3 hours. According to police statements, Elvish revealed during his interrogation that the snakes were supplied by singer Fazilpuria at the Noida Rave party. Singer Fizalpuria in return said that his name has come forward because of Elvish’s viral video in which he has a snake wrapped around his neck. He has assured that this viral video is a clip from his earlier album shoot. The latest development in the case took place on 15th November 2023 when the Noida police found the organizer Rahul’s ‘red diary.’ According to the police, the Red Dairy has records of snakes, venom, snake charmers, trainers, bookings, client’s names, party lists & mobile numbers. This red diary has given the Noida police a lot of new information, leads & suspects. The police are investigating every single name in the diary. According to the information, Elvish has no direct contact with Rahul, but there is mention of many parties organized for Elvish in the diary. It is claimed that the diary also contains complete details of the discussion between Elvish & singer Fazilpuria and after the police analyze all details of the diary, the trouble for Elvish & singer Fazilpuria is expected to increase.
