Football Legend Diego Maradona Passes Away

Argentine Football legend Diego Maradona passed away at the age of 60, shocking football fans worldwide.

Argentine Football legend Diego Maradona aged 60, had successful surgery on a brain blood clot earlier this month. It was then announced that he was addicted to alcohol and showed signs of depression, anemia and dehydration. However, Maradona died yesterday on 25th November. This has shocked football lovers across the world. In 91 football matches, Maradona scored 34 goals. He has played in 4 football world cups. 

During the second half of his career, Maradona struggled with cocaine addiction and was banned for 15 months after testing positive for the drug in 1991.

He retired from football in 1997, on his 37th birthday. Maradona was appointed head coach of the Argentine national team in 2008 and left after the 2010 World Cup. He went on to manage teams for the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Mexico as well.
