Andrew Symonds is one of the finest all rounders in the history of Australian Cricket. It was in the 2003 World Cup where Symonds burst onto the ground with his greatest innings as he trashed Pakistan scoring 143 runs staying not out and later helped Australia win the match. The 46-year old Australian legend played for Australia from 1998 to 2009. Symonds scored 2 centuries in 26 Tests. He played 198 one day internationals and scored six centuries and 30 half-centuries while also taking 133 wickets with his bowling. Symonds also played 14 T20 Internationals for Australia, scoring 337 runs and eight wickets. Andrew Symonds also appeared for IPL representing Deccan Chargers & Mumbai Indians for a short duration of time. After his retirement from cricket, Symonds turned into a full time commentator with his knowledge and experience in the game.

According to the reports he was involved in a car accident on Saturday, 14th May 2022 night. Emergency services attempted to bring the cricketer who was alone in the car driving himself, but he died from his injuries after the car rolled multiple times and went off the road..Symonds' heart breaking car crash comes just months after the deaths of his fellow Australian legends Shane Warne and Rod Marsh.
