Many high ranking officers who were accused of corruption, disproportionate assets and non-performance have now been “compulsorily retired”. They will be given pay and allowances for 3 months but they will not be given pension. The Finance Ministry has invoked Rule 56J of the "fundamental rules” has said that they have done this in public interest. They want people to know that unacceptable behaviour will not be tolerated. There are more officials with bad records. They are under observation and an action will be taken against them as well.
