Restaurants

Instead of dine-in, takeaways should be encouraged.

Food delivery person should leave the package at the door. Do not hand over the package to the customer directly.

Before going out for deliveries the restaurant should check the temperature of the home delivery staff. Entrances of restaurants should have hand hygiene and thermal screening facilities.

People in waiting should be seated in a separated fixed waiting area with strict rules of social distancing. There should be fixed markings with enough distance to manage the queue and ensure social distancing.

Only 50% of the seating capacity shall be permitted.

It is advised that disposable menus should be used.

All restaurants should use disposable paper napkins (tissues) instead of cloth napkins.

Buffet service should also follow social distancing norms.
Hotels:

The guest must provide details (travel history, medical condition etc.) along with ID and self-declaration format the reception.

Always when a guest leaves, rooms and other areas (lobby etc) shall be sanitized.

In the kitchen, the staff should follow social distancing norms. Kitchens area must be sanitized at regular intervals.

Deep cleaning of all washrooms should be done at regular intervals.

Face covers/masks/gloves etc. used by staff or guests must be properly disposed of.
