The world of entertainment is returning to normalcy slowly with many theatres across the globe re- opening and shooting. Many Bollywood celebrities in the past few months have tested positive for the coronavirus. On 6 th September 2020, Bollywood actor Arjun Kapoor revealed that he has tested positive for coronavirus. He added that he is asymptomatic and doing fine. Earlier last week, Arjun resumed shooting for his untitled romantic movie. The actor had posted on Instagram a picture of himself from the set, where members of the crew were seen wearing masks. Few hours after Arjun Kapoor’s announcement, his girlfriend Malaika Arora in an interview with Times of India said, “Yes, I have tested positive. I am asymptomatic and have self-quarantined at home. I will bounce back healthier and stronger.”A few days back 7-8 unit members of Malaika’s dance reality show India’s Best Dancer tested positive for the virus after which the shoot was suspended. It is not sure whether the actress got infected.
In Hollywood too, many actors have tested positive for coronavirus. Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson were the first popular actors to openly reveal about being tested positive for COVID. They have recovered and resumed work. Robert Pattinson who will be acting as Batman has tested positive for Covid-19. along with his wife Lauren Hashian and their daughters have tested positive for COVID19. Spanish actor Antonio Banderas known for his amazing acting in the film The Mask of Zorro had recently announced on social media that he has recovered from Covid-19.
