A massive destructive explosion caused by ammonium nitrate happened last month in Lebanon's Capital city of Beirut. The explosion led to food and medicine shortages. Hence India planned and offered supplies. On Friday 14th August India delivered 58 metric ton (58000 Kg) of emergency humanitarian aid including medical and food supplies to Lebanon. The supplies include wheat flour, sugar, pulses, and other materials like blankets and sleeping mats.
