Industrialist Puneet Agrawal and 5 others Dead
In a freak accident, business tycoon Puneet Agrawal and 5 other family members died in an elevator crash. Watch the video for further details.
Puneet Agrawal was one of MP's top businessmen. He was celebrating New Year's Eve at a farmhouse near Patalpani waterfalls near Indore.Agrawal was constructing towers near the Patalpani. He wanted to increase tourism in the area.He and his family decided to take a view of the hills from one of the buildings. They took a temporary lift to reach the top of an under-construction tower. This lift was usually used by workers. There were 7 people in the lift.
However the elevator malfunctioned and came crashing down 100 ft.The family was then rushed to a hospital. Puneet Agrawal was declared dead on arrival.Agrawal’s daughter Palak Agrawal (27), her husband Kalpesh (28) and their three children have all died. Agrawal’s wife Neeti, Neeti, is alive and undergoing treatment at the Choithram Hospital in Indore. However she is critical. The police are investigating the crash.
