ISRO Prepares for Chandrayaan-3
ISRO has already started prep for the Chandrayaan-3 and it is expected to launch in November 2020.
Earlier this year, ISRO launched the Chandrayaan-2 mission which was expected to land on the moon. However this mission failed.But ISRO have not lost hope and have already started preparing for Chandrayaan-3. The C-3 will be launched in November 2020. The orbiter of Chandrayaan-2 has been working well and has also released the pictures of the Moon.
Therefore, ISRO will only be building a new rover and lander, this time. Since the technology of the orbiter is perfect they only have to create a new Rover and Lander. Because C-2’s lander crash landed on the moon, they will have to work on making changes to the technology for a successful landing. ISRO is very positive about C-3. They have already held meetings and have started working on C-3. Hopefully it is successful.
